Always reliable, great content

I've been using EA How To for about three years now. This time I renewed my EA How To Plus Membership and also signed up for a couple of the Administrative Skills Webinars. Just like before, the process was smooth and the content was high quality. The webinars were practical and easy to follow. It's why I keep coming back; the resources are consistently good and directly applicable to my job. I appreciate the reliable training and community access.

Useful, but minor tech issue

I purchased the Tech Stack Training for Assistants. Overall, the course content was very good and quite practical for my daily work. The presenter was knowledgeable and explained things well. My only small gripe was during one of the modules; I had a slight issue with the video player buffering a few times, even though my internet connection was solid. It sorted itself out after refreshing the page, but it was a bit disruptive. Delivery of the course materials was immediate, which was great. The value for the price seems fair for what's offered. Customer service wasn't needed this time, which is always a plus. It's a solid platform, just that little tech hiccup.

How does EA How To compare to something like Practically Perfect PA? Trying to pick one for professional development.

L Linda E. 3 weeks ago
EA How To feels more focused on executive level stuff, leadership. Practically Perfect PA is good too, but I found EA How To pushed me more strategically.

I've used both. Practically Perfect PA has great resources for day-to-day admin tasks, but EA How To definitely has more emphasis on career progression and high-level assistant roles.

Do they offer certificates for the courses? My employer needs proof of training sometimes.

E Elizabeth Anderson 1 month ago
Yeah, for most of the structured training and courses, you get a certificate of completion.

Pretty sure they do. I got one for a leadership workshop I did through them.

Thinking of getting the Plus membership, but wondering if there are any current discount codes out there? Don't wanna pay full price if I don't have to.

H Hannah P. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, check your email if you've signed up for their newsletter. That's usually where they send them.

I got a code for 15% off my annual plan a few months ago through an email from them. They pop up sometimes, especially around Black Friday or the new year, I think.

Are there free trials for the Plus community? Would love to check it out before committing.

M Matt H. 3 weeks ago
They do offer them sometimes, usually for like a week or so. Keep an eye on their site or sign up for emails.

I got a free trial last year, but it was a limited-time thing. Not sure if they always have one available, but it's worth checking around peak times like January or September.

Can you actually cancel the Plus membership easily, or is it a hassle to get out of?

M Mary T. 4 weeks ago
Super easy. Just log in and there's an option in your account settings.

I canceled mine for a few months when I was between jobs, no issues at all. It's not one of those services that makes you jump through hoops.
